Small pōhutukawa yarn bowl.

Yarn bowl - hand turned and carved from New Zealand native pōhutukawa (Metrosideros excelsa). The swirl is carved by hand and sanded smooth to avoid catches and it allows you to change thread or project with ease. The curved bowl has a slightly closed form keeping the ball in place as you pull the thread while you work. Made with a little extra depth in the base to give it weight.
